How PMA handles personal data
Privacy statement
This notice explains how Process Measurement and Analysis Ltd (PMA) handles information on belfieldvalve.uk, including optional Google Analytics and your consent choices.
Who is responsible for this website?
Process Measurement and Analysis Ltd (PMA) operates belfieldvalve.uk and is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Contact our privacy team at privacy@pma.uk.com, call 01484 843 708, or write to Brook Mills House, Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, HD7 5BG, United Kingdom.
Optional Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 only with your consent to understand use of this website and its technical resources. Select Accept analytics to allow collection, or Reject analytics to decline. Both choices allow you to browse, download resources and make enquiries. Continuing to browse is not consent.
Before you accept, our analytics integration does not load Google Analytics or send it requests. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings. Rejecting after acceptance stops further collection, removes this integration’s analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not automatically erase data already received by Google.
What analytics information is sent?
After acceptance, our integration sends page views, clicks on email or telephone links, and downloads of supported files hosted on this website. Google also receives browser and device information, cookie identifiers, approximate location and the technical information needed to receive the connection, including your IP address. Google explains its regional IP-address handling in its Analytics privacy documentation.
Contact-click events identify only email or telephone as the contact method, not the address or number clicked. The integration does not send enquiry-form contents. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments, and referrers are limited to their website origin. We do not enable Google Signals or personalised advertising; advertising consent remains denied.
Cookies, consent storage and retention
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser for 180 days under belfield_analytics_consent_v1. If you accept, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_GCS18F3WBB to distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure these cookies to expire after 180 days without renewing that lifetime on every visit. Your browser may remove them sooner.
Our GA4 retention settings are 2 months for event data and 14 months for user data. The user-data retention period resets on new activity. These controls apply to the relevant detailed data, not standard aggregated reports. Browser cookie expiry is separate from Google’s data retention.
Google’s privacy information
Google processes analytics data to provide this service. Processing may take place outside the United Kingdom. The links below explain Google’s handling of information and its data-processing and international-transfer terms. This site’s consent controls determine whether our analytics integration sends data; Google’s policy does not replace those controls.

Enquiries, newsletters and site security
If you contact PMA, we use the details you provide, including your contact, company and application information and message, to respond to your request and provide the relevant products or services. Newsletter subscriptions are a separate choice from analytics consent. You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails. PMA’s general privacy policy explains its wider handling of personal data.
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam and automated abuse. This security service processes technical browser and device information independently of optional Google Analytics.
